The Town of Ashland Massachusetts was founded in 1846 and is located in Middlesex County.

Ashland was once the original starting point of the world famous Boston Marathon which still runs through the town, Ashland is also known as the site of Henry Warrens invention of the electric clock.

Residents and visitors alike look forward to “Ashland Day” which is a not-to-be-missed annual celebration of traditional New England spirit.
